I don’t boo. I don’t really understand booing. But I can say if I’d travelled all the way to wales on a cold Tuesday night to see that ‘performance’, I’d be even more p1ssed off than I am now!!
To be fair to them they went to the game....it must be frustrating when you've missed out on a Happy meal, toy and McFlurry.
And fair play to all of you that went. I’m a semi regular away follower but I must admit I’ve no motivation at minute and not sure when my next one will be. I know it’s meant to be thick and thin but tonight was so predictable. Honestly, looked at the clock on 85 minutes and my heart sank as if I knew how it would end.
But,well done to you and the others for making the journey and supporting the team. What time are you expecting to get back by?
Why? 26 quid for an adult ticket and 25 quid on the official coach. Day or half day off work. Home after midnight and up early tomorrow. It's not like today has been a one or four off lately. We never looked like scoring and the players are quick to take the plaudits when things go well, so need to take some accountability when they don't. It would be different if we had lost after being unlucky or our first defeat in a while.
I've just travelled 2.5 hours on a freezing Tuesday night to see us basically roll over for a team who were non league from 2008-2022 because the manager and players are too cowardly to try and win a game of football. In League 1. What would you propose we do? Clap politely for the sake of it? Unveil a banner saying "you tried (even though you didn't really)?" Why are you desperate to defend individuals on £250k+ a year from being held to account? Bit weird if you ask me.
There were quite a few around me saying we're sh*t. Whilst it may be frustration talking, we're not. Some of our play is good. But we are powder puff up front. It won't change much til January, when there'll be changes imo. I think we're probably building for next season.
yeah they were non league but its hardly a regular example is it given they have consistently signed players from a higher level that they were playing due to the amount of money sloshing about down there.
A club our size shouldn't be building for next season in League 1 FFS. Yes it's arrogant but that's a crap mantra.
Humphreys only on a 12 month contract and Phillips, Russell, Roberts and MDG all run out the season after. So even if we are building for next season we could potentially end up losing half the first team again like what happened last year.
Begs the question the ownership are pumping in circa £7 million a season to prop us up. Why? Why not spend £9.5 million buy five key players and try and off set Tesco offering them a way out?
How else do they show their frustration then? stay away from games?. I'd rather them boo than be verbally abusive to the players
