You mean "we ignore the stuff that we know is wrong"
Which is good. But kind of shows how silly turning to such a text for moral guidance is.

And if nobody said anything, football would be a very unwelcome place indeed for the gay community.

Can someone tell me what is virtue signalling. I seem to be getting it muddled up for being caring for minority groups and having some semblance of decency.

They aren't minority groups. They're like minded people who want to live their lives in peace and harmony. Who want to raise children and not have someone say, " I'm sorry". Good people who don't want a big thing made of them adopting young lads on drugs or the wrong path and showing them a better life. People who do it because they care and don't want likes on an internet message board. People who are friends no matter what and you class as brothers or fatherly. Rant over.

I suggest you spend time speaking with minority groups and the issues they constantly face and you may gain better insight.

Whatever floats your boat. I'm speaking from first hand experience. It's the crap a good friend had to put up with. Sanctimonious people.

My last company captured literally millions of pieces of data from company employees. My wife works in a role where she engages with different groups in her company. LGBTQ+, religious groups, black groups, female groups.

I’m sorry to say that your first hand experience does not add up to the volume of information I’ve had the fortune to witness. And if these groups aren’t being adversely impacted, why are there so many organisations desperately trying to educate, generate awareness and improve their lives and opportunities?

You won't get one. He once spent a while chasing me round the board saying I'd accused him of being a sex offender when I'd done nothing of the sort. He never apologised for deliberately misrepresenting what I'd said so he won't do it for you.

Dan and Mick ditched the system after the foster acceptance because they weren't supported when wanting a child of their own. It hit them really hard. They'd put so much effort in to being "accepted" there was nobody there when it really mattered to them. It was thanks but Pi55 off. I doubt Morsy's armband mattered to them.

It drove them apart Mick became an alcoholic and Dan split up with him.

Long and short think I'm a homophobe or bigot. That's up to you. I couldn't give a crap.

    Statistically, that’s highly unlikely.

If Morsy is not comfortable representing everyone then why accept the captaincy?

1.5% of people in the UK are gay. There are 70 players listed on the ipswich website from first team down to U18 (that doesn't include the Women's Team).

    1.5% of 70 is 2.1 players.

And that doesn't include any members of non playing staff, Google tells me that number could be as high as 250.

    1.5% of 250 is 6 people.

You are quoting figures for the UK population as a whole, not for professional footballers. Given that only a handful of male players have been known to be gay in the entire history of football, I’d say there’s an extremely low probability that 2 members of the Ipswich team are gay. The women’s team is another matter entirely.

I never said you were that, merely suggesting that one incidence does not account for the millions of people who are negatively treated every single day simply because of the colour of their skin, their sexuality or their gender. If you don't realise that this is happening in the country around you, well...

Known to be gay is very important.

They're terrified of coming out thanks to people like Morsy. Imagine if a young lad in the U18s is gay? And his club captain is acting like this.

I think been gay is quite well accepted its 2025 in a few weeks not 1920s

Ex reds player Bruce Dyer has given his thoughts on the Palace players one.
