From Clarke’s interview today I get the impression that the Portuguese Magnifico will be starting Saturday…
https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...a-january-pledge-regarding-fabio-jalo-4896866 It's a shame about Max. Jalo should be starting Saturday. He's been a rare positive with his last few sub appearances.
Looking at what their fans have been saying their MOTM the other night is suspended after picking up a 5th booking. The general consensus also appears to be they are excellent in a first half and don't play as well after the break.
I think fans, myself included, get excited when we have a new talent and want to push them into the first team, probably too early. Conversely, managers always seem to be too reluctant to give them a fair go. I've seem this often over the years. I wish we could find a happy medium (is there anybody there?)
Problem with jalo is if he doesn't start getting competitive game time soon it won't do his development any good. Either give him a run of games or get him a loan where he's getting minutes.
Agreed! Maybe it didn't across that way in my post. I want to give him a start to see what he can do. His assists, crosses, and shots in his recent cameos, show he at least deserves this.
