Arrival and Entry Supporters are encouraged to arrive early, with turnstiles opening at 1:30pm. To avoid any last-minute rush, please take your seats at least 30 minutes before kick-off. For juveniles under 14, please remember that they must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+). Ticket Collection and Purchases Home supporters with pre-ordered tickets can collect them from the Box Office located in the South Stand. Given the high volume of collections, it is advisable to pick up your tickets before 2pm to avoid lengthy queues. A collection point will be available outside the Box Office from 1pm onwards. Ticket sales to home supporters will be from the Box office and online ONLY. There will be no sales from the turnstiles on the day of the game. Any sales of home tickets will need to be made by supporters who have a previous purchase history with us up to and including the Rotherham United fixture on the 8th November. Visiting supporters can collect their pre-ordered tickets and any duplicates from the same Box Office starting at 1pm. Please make sure to plan accordingly to ensure timely entry into the stadium. There will be no ticket sales on the day to away supporters. Parking Information Home supporters are urged to pre-purchase parking tickets for the South Stand car park due to limited pay-on-entry spaces. The Queens Ground away car park is not pre-bookable and is cash or card payments on entry only. For Sat Nav purposes the postcode is S71 1AN. This car park is only open to blue badge holders for £5, minibuses for £10 and coaches for £20. Any away supporters travelling to the game in a car can park in one of the following local car parks: 1. Grahams Orchard, Barnsley S70 2ST (///cared.life.swift) 2. Sackville Street, Barnsley S70 2DJ (///harp.solar.zealous) 3. St. Marys Place Shopper Car Park, St Mary's Pl, Barnsley (///skip.files.grant) 4. Burleigh Street, Barnsley S70 1LH (///hours.probe.goods) Health and Safety To ensure the safety and well-being of all fans, please note the following guidelines: • Access to all car parks will close 30 minutes before kick-off. • It is possible to exit the car park during the game up until the 80th minute dependant on crowd movement. • Vehicles must remain stationary for at least 15 minutes after the final whistle, with exit gates opening only when deemed safe by the Stadium Safety Officer. Hospitality guests have designated parking in the East Stand car park, accessible via Beevor Court road until 90 minutes before kick-off and via the South Stand car park until 30 minutes before kick-off. Post-match, these guests may exit via Beevor Court around 25 minutes after the final whistle once deemed safe to do so. All vehicular movement is at the discretion of the Stadium Safety Officer and the above is a guide only. There is a late gate open on each stand up to 35 minutes after kick off as follows: Norman Rimmington South Stand - Turnstile 10 DX West Stand (upper and lower) - Turnstile 26 Rapid Response East Stand (upper and lower) - Turnstile 75 The Barry Murphy North Stand (Visiting supporters) - Turnstile 44 Flag and Banner Policy We encourage an exciting atmosphere at matches and fully endorse the bringing of flags and banners to Oakwell, but these must adhere to the guidelines set by the club in tandem with the stadium’s safety team as stipulated below: • The Club reserves the right to refuse the allowance of flags or banners to be displayed, particularly if the content is deemed to be offensive, insensitive, discriminatory, defamatory or inflammatory. • Any item that the Club or any of its employees deem possible to be used as a potential weapon and/or compromise public safety will not be permitted inside the stadium. • Any item above the area of 60cm x 100cm must be flame retardant and have a fire safety certificate to prove so, provided in advance of kick-off. • The flag pole should be no bigger than 7mm in diameter and 1 metre in length. The material should ideally be plastic and rounded/covered at the end. • Flags and banners should be presented to stewards prior to entry to the stadium where they will be inspected in accordance with this list and approved prior to admittance. • The Club reserves the right to confiscate any flags or banners brought into Oakwell Stadium which weren’t pre-approved by our stewards prior to entry.
