Too dangerous for a public event in town, but not for one happening a five minute walk away with around 16k people due to attend.

Am guessing a lot of people had put a lot of time, effort and money into that.
    Sad news.

I wouldn't be in too much of a rush to get it called off. It's a freebie game worth getting outta the way.

Safety is paramount. You get hit by a roof slate you aren't having anymore Christmas markets mate.

slight difference in the structure of a football stadium and a market stall I’m guessing.

Other year those children were killed when a bouncy castle took off. Those market stall tarpaulins wet through could easily kill someone if they hit them.

Yeah a market stall is a bit sturdier than the west stand

Asbestos, holes in the ground, dugouts in the way, unsafe refreshment kiosks etc

The only advantage it has over the rest of the stadium for people sitting in it is they don't have to look at the ugly thing

Seats are great , warm wood to yer bum and feet .
A lot better than cold plastic seats on freezing concrete steps .
Refreshments never been the same since the hot local pies ended . This should be addressed , a local pop up food outlet perhaps .
Urinals now have a roof , now there was an advancement . Portaloos should be there as well .
Leg room ? Move to a seat which is best for you .
    I did and I am 6'5" .
Weather rarely affects us as well .

Out of interest where do you sit ?
