Unless somethings happened that I’m unaware of that seems very harsh. I think almost everyone had them finishing bottom before the season started
Whoever they appoint isn’t likely to improve results with what he’s got to work with. They’re a very small club in the championship.
Gotta feel for the guy, was always a tough ask keeping them out of trouble on their budget. They'll be hoping to get a new manager bounce effect to stay up
Did an amazing job last season. Imagine he’ll be high on the list of any top end club in L1 that will be looking for a manager.
Shocked at that. Bad form but still outside relegation and scrapping. Even if they had got relegated i would have kept him to try get promotion the following season. Wonder who they'll bring in
Thought they were pretty fortunate to get promoted and the gulf between championship and league one is widening so no surprise they’re struggling
He had done a great job at overachieving. By doing so he's got himself sacked, because had he not got them up and this season were around where we are in league one, he would still be in work.
Sometimes makes you wonder if the owners had already got someone sorted in the background thinking the grass will be greener.
That's true but we would be in a similar if not worse position than Oxford unfortunately. The truth is without significant investment and for me some needs it to come pre promotion which is a gamble financially. The jump up now from L1 to Championship is like Championship to the greed league without the massive financial benefits.
No one looking for a new boss at moment I don’t think. I wasn’t suggesting sacking DC to bring him in
The gap will only get bigger. Not sure how true it is but heard this new Sky deal gives around 75% of the money to the Championship with 15% and 10% to leagues 1 and 2. Fast turning into Prem 2.
