Roasted chestnuts at Christmas markets etc

    How the hell do people eat them? I struggle getting the bloody shells off sat in the comfort of a chair!

    At home I cut a cross in them and they peel open as they roast. Never really had them at a market.

    You cant beat some roasted nuts. I prefer dry roasted this time of year.

    I used to enjoy an old mates reunion in Norwich for many years latterly week 43 otherwise known as Beer Festival week .
    I always bought said nuts from the local street vendor .
    Lovely .

    I really love em too , I just can’t see how people can manage to eat them outside, especially walking about :confused:

    We love them, we’ve started doing them in the air fryer, the shell just about drops off
