Super League to be relaunched

    The significant difference is that the clubs won't have to share the broadcast revenue with UEFA. I have mixed feelings about the Super League but it'd be fun to see the clubs stick two fingers up at UEFA and FIFA.

    OK. We'd all like to see 2 fingers put up to UEFA and FIFA not forgetting The FA. However, creaming off all the revenue from TV would surely end up accelerating the destruction of the sport to the detriment of domestic football and "clubs like Barnsley" would inevitably be worst affected.

    This is the compromise I'm most in fear of.

    By all means bugger off. But buggering off means exactly that. Lock stock and barrell. And don't ever come back, unless as already mentioned, they start back at the bottom...
