Can't work out whether this is serious or not. I love popping into Waitrose to pick up a few treats, but with the amount we eat in our house I'd certainly struggle to afford to do my regular shopping there. Makes M&S look cheap!

I'm glad you've explained the details to me Gally.
Could you break it down into a more simplistic format. please.

I raised this a year or so ago on here about a box of Cherry Bakewell and questioned why the press who everyday were all over the energy companies for profiteering yet no one was calling out the Supermarkets & their food increasing significantly.

I find it mildly amusing that the one in Lincoln is sandwiched between St Giles and the Ermine.

Yes, it hasn't escaped our attention either! A less appropriate Waitrose location is hard to imagine. Luckily we live at the other end of the city - otherwise my missus would insist on going there more regularly than once a month!

the best thing about having a wander round Waitrose up here is earwigging on some of the conversations, snobby oneupmanship doesn't cover it! :D

It involves strategies to retain customers and prevent them from leaving a business by addressing their needs and re-engaging them through personalized offers, improved experiences, or loyalty rewards. It’s about
keeping existing customers because thats more cost-effective and profitable than acquiring new ones.

Its when they get the milk already churned to make the cheese to save time during production.

Imagine what it was like for the poor consumer going shopping before a career that dealt with all this was invented. It's a wonder anyone managed to buy anything at all. Speaking of which, does anyone remember the sweet shop at the top of Regent Street with those beautiful glass jars full of sweets, or the deli at the top of the arcade that ground coffee beans and sliced cheese with one of those wires, or all the amazing produce you could get on the market.

Let's hope internet providers, insurance companies etc catch on meaning less need to shop around for the best deals each year.
