True but we're playing league one where he was top scorer 2 seasons running. Its Irrelevant, I still think at league one he scores goals.
I know what you mean, but he would haven’t have been on peanuts wherever he was , I just think there was a better option for someone in a career with a finite life
Imho the Cole of the second half of last season, Jan onwards, was an absolute passenger and was far worse than almost anything we have now. Not commenting on the reasons for that.. Up to then he was on fire of course, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player’s form drop off a cliff so drastically over a season
Yeah exactly, and I think to a lesser degree, he did it the previous season as well. Form and confidence comes and goes of course, with every player, and that's understandable. But Devante didn't get the move he clearly wanted in January, which we all thought was going to happen btw. And he just lost his tool bag after that, sadly!.
I still think it's so unfair to say that mate. There's absolutely 0 logic for him not to try when, after already having a brilliant first half of season goal-wise, to not give a toss second half, especially when his contract is run down so clubs wouldnt have to pay a fee, had he continued he could have had around 30 goals and a **** tonne of clubs would be interested and he could have got loads & loads more money.
