50 year Saudi Arabian according to BBC Which, if he has children himself, makes it 'even' worse Whoever it was/is, I hope they rot in hell for a very long time.
There is some absolute evil in the world sadly and none of us will ever be able to comprehend why or how someone can do such horrendous acts. As you say it feels especially awful at this time of year, people out enjoying themselves, thinking of Christmas and family and hundreds of lives have been changed forever with many destroyed in a few short tragic seconds. When things like this happen the only consolation I give myself is that for every evil person out there there are thousands of good people. Doesn't help those affected today but helps me personally to handle life on a fairly regular basis.
It's the 50 year old bit what does me, obviously when a youngster or in particular a child in an American school does something evil like this, it's still incredibly evil. But I just picture him as a 50 year old having his own children, knowing what it must be like, especially as you've mentioned at this time of year. Even if he is a different religion, he still has those special days equivelant to Christmas etc. Just can't fathom it
Lived in Germany since 2006 and a doctor in his 50s. Glad they caught him alive so he can deal with the consequences.
And a doctor too. Someone who will have saved many lives in his lifetime. To do something like that is unfathomable
Magdeburg market attack latest: Child among two dead with up to 80 injured after car ploughs into crowd in Germany Not Berlin but Magdeburg, south west of Berlin.
Allegedly...... Dr Talib Al Abdul Mohsan. He is an Atheist from Saudi Arabia, supports Israel and Netanyahu. He hates and wants to terminate Islam, is wanted by the Saudi authorities but Germany refused to hand him over. He blames Germany for Islamicising Europe, supports the German far right party, AFD and is also a supporter of Tommy Robinson. This is gonna mess with a lot of folks bigoted stereotypes if true.
It's slightly deeper a lot of the time but in essence yes. Reading @exiled post above it sounds like it's a very convoluted situation.
