Should have been subbed. Any other position they'd sub a player having a bad game so should be no different for a keeper.

It's a bad game, it happens, but for god sake Darrell take him off when he's playing badly

He really hasn't taken well to his run in the team. He hardly saves a shot, keep a clean sheet or help us win.

Smith should play on Boxing Day.

When I saw the subs warming up after half an hour, I fully expected Smith to replace Killip. I've never seen a keeper replaced in a game like that, but it was so obvious that his head had gone that it would have made complete sense.

Genuinely felt sorry for the bloke today, the reactions of the other players around him and at the final whistle said it all.

I expect that to be last we see of him, alongside Craig and McCarthy.

And to protect him. Fortunately they didn't get many more corners, but if they had every one could have gone in because Killip was getting nowhere near them. He was jumping for the ball and he was yards away from it. I've rarely seen a professional player so far out of his depth. It could have ended up being 7 or 8.

Yes that's what I mean too. It's not nice leaving him on for no reason

Walking down Oakwell lane I said that his kicking has been very good with both feet. That also didn’t age well but I guess conditions didn’t help.

He was very poor on crosses and parried a few saves out into danger zones. Tough conditions but not a good day for him.

I fealt sorry for Killip but credit should also go to Orient for their fantastic delivery on corners.
I'd like to see Nwakali taking corners for us.

In the conditions, hard to disagree that their corners were exceptional. Our set pieces, regardless of conditions, are quite often dreadful, particularly corners. Surely in a squad of professional footballers, you could coach a couple of them to consistently put a corner into the danger zone.

Imho he had improved of late but really we need a much better keeper than him as our number one.
    Had a shocker today

The defending for the first 2 corners was embarrassing, think 1st goal it was Gent’s man, can’t remember 2nd but as for 2nd half can’t comment as I left as soon as my half time pint was supped and way I feel about minute think I’ll not bother NYD

Killip was abysmal today I went to the match and having seen the match highlights (if you can call it that after 0-4 defeat) he was at fault for most of the goals. He completely missed the cross for the second goal, hesitated too long for the third and punched the ball at the orient forward for the fourth. The first was poor marking but even then he should have done better and knocked the ball into his own net. Don't know what coaching took place during the week but the coaching staff and the players want to be in tommorow and sort themselves out too.

He was at fault for all 4 goals, no question. Others can take some blame too, but for all 4 you want your keeper to do better.

What happened to keepers being on the back post for corners?' We were always told at school ' stand on the back post then you can see whats happening all across your goal' Killip was in no mans land for every set play that came in' and again for the third goal aided and abbetted by the french lad' proper schoolboy stuff.
