I like a good quality cider or a nice rum and coke.

Chaplin & Cork is a nice cider, if you haven’t tried it.

When we last went to Pouilly-sur-Loire, Mrs Burgundy Red and I bought a bottle of each of the wines available in the Office de Tourisme (a selection of Pouilly-Fumé and the less known Pouilly-sur-Loire appellation), to try some new ones as a change from just drinking our favourites on rotation. This weekend's selection, the Château Favray Pouilly Fumé above, was in the top 3 we've tasted so far, which puts it in line for a visit to the vineyard in the New Year.

I’ve struggled with wine since first time I had parosmia following covid. I used to like a Sauvignon but it’s like vinegar to me now, and Whiskey still not right either.

That's a búmmer. A timely reminder to keep up to date with my jabs, though. "Never overlook the possibility that your purpose in life is merely to serve as a warning to others". (He said, flippantly).

Yeah, just had my top up jab a couple of weeks back. Sadly, the first time I got Covid was right at the beginning, before the jab was even available. I’ve had it again twice, but it never affected my taste or smell like the first time.

I was quite late to the party but was lucky enough to dodge the taste and smell issues. Joking aside, I hope you get over it with time.

Very much into my stouts and porters.
Especially independent or smaller brewery types. I mean Guinness is ok as a stock drink but there is a hell of a lot of choice out there.

Cheers mate. I can eat and drink most stuff again, and even though some stuff still smells strange, it can taste ok.

Not a big drinker nor a lover of whiskey...but for the past three Christmases I've treated myself to the a single malt from Aldi...and enjoy it....fav beer is speckled hen...both help me through trying to forget yesterday's performance!
