It was and it wasn't. Usyk was the clear winner but it was never easy and most rounds were close.
Usyk was and is just so consistent as a fighter.

Just out of interest, which Klitschko do you think beats him easily? Or do you think both? Allegedly Usyk gave Wlad some right hammerings in sparring. I don’t think he ever crossed paths with Vitali.

I don’t get how you can class the division as poor though. This is the best it’s been in at least 25 years.

Did you not see the poor quality of contenders the Klitschko’s faced for over a decade? The division was absolutely terrible from Lewis - Klitschko right up until fairly recently.

I think this is where people get upset over nothing. You can win a wide 118-110, 117-111 type decision & it actually be a close fight by just edging the majority of the rounds.

There’s nothing controversial about a 116–112 card last night.

Usyk turning into a great champion, don't know how people say that he lost it. Fury's career is going south.

Very close fight could’ve gone either way, but only way fury would’ve won on points is if he had knocked usyk down or a clear stoppage

It's only my opinion but I think he would have struggled with either at their prime, What's your opinion on the rest if the list I made. Ye like most weights there are golden generations and heavyweight does have lean years, think my age comment was my nod to selective memory on the talent front but I'd stand by my view thar he wouldn't beat any of my choices, also conceeded that at present he's the man. Also a rematch with Dubois would be good..

Its hard because I was only a kid when most of them were in their prime & didn’t watch their fights live.

I can watch Usyk now & I know how good his opposition is but I don’t get that if I’m watching Tyson or Holyfield’s fights.

At a guess I think Holyfield beats him on points. Holyfield would be the most difficult style match up for him based on Usyk’s closest win over Breidis.

I’d favour Vitali on points over Usyk.

I think Lennox would probably stop Usyk. I think he’s the greatest of my lifetime.

I think Usyk beats Wlad on points or even late stoppage. I think Wlad’s a bit one dimensional to beat Usyk.

And probably the controversial one but I think Usyk would make Tyson quit. I think he rides an early storm & takes over. Tyson would likely look for a way out when he runs out of ideas & starts fatiguing

Soz mate guilty of assuming everyone saw them fight. interesting on the Tyson front because I remember the 21/22 year old Tyson who was frightening. Your probably right about the later Tyson who would have to bite him to slow him down..as he was guilty of previously.
