Ben Killip sat in Barnsley hospital with his nose packed...obviously a nose injury. Maybe hit in face with a ball or maybe been hit...both nostrils packed with tissue.

I think the shear weight of his magnificent head of hair has put undue pressure on his sinuses.

Obviously I'm saying this in jest, I hope he's OK and wish him no ill will, but I wish he'd got his face to one or two of Orient's efforts on Saturday.

Yes it was just abit of a joke on my part too I hope he's okay. Joking aside though Saturday was probably the worst home goalkeeping display ever at oakwell. 1st 2nd and 4th was all shocking goalkeeping.

Hope so. Distribution and cross-claiming are said to have been his strong points at Walsall.

Glad I don't keep my groin up my nose. You'd have your work cut out getting a pair of pants to fit.

I don't know if you're referring to the size of your nose or something else! :D

Just so we're clear, do we hound out Smith after a few mistakes like we've done with Slonina and Killip?

I can't speak for others, but I certainly wouldn't 'hound out' Killip. But after a display as poor as the one the other day and the very clear knock his confidence took, I'd certainly replace him on the field for the next game.

I think that gives the opposite message though. If I'm Clarke, I speak with Killip to say that he's been doing well this season and that everyone can have a bad game. Obviously he had a shocker and he'll know that. But I calm him down, tell him I believe in him, and keep him in the side.

Taking him out would ruin his confidence - in my opinion.
