You Tube only released the documentary the other day and it's already got millions of views. Nothing mentioned of his life in general like his much younger wife taking him to the cleaners twice or being known to many people of a certain age as "Lily's dad". His son Nic has done a good job carrying on the drumming legacy of his father. The back catalogue of songs is impressive.
Visited the Alamo in Texas earlier this year and was surprised to see an exhibition in the museum of artefacts collected by Collins after he became obsessed with the battle after watching Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier as a kid. You’ve learnt summat today eh???
Drumeo do some brilliant videos and well Worth a watch. The ones where they get famous Drummers to play drums to a track they’ve never heard are always a great watch. Well for an ex drummer like me anyway. I’ve got an electric drum kit set up in my music studio but never get the chance to have a blast, when I really should.
Lol. A lot say same when I say I prefer Brian Johnson over Bon Scott. AC/DC. Although Scott was not the first singer in the band.
Read his autobiography, you realise that his several marriages and divorces were down to one common denominator. Love him as a singer drummer followed him for over 50 years. But not marriage material in my eyes.
