Joking apart, very enjoyable second half. Deserved to win. Worst Bolton team in two generations.

 

Got to agree with you about those. Just ignore them. We're up at down this season some can't wait to stick the boot in, got to stick with it looking forward to posh and wrexham now.

 

They definitely don’t get me down mate, however I do think they make a lovely pair of TITS!

They love it don't they?! I bet they have notes drafted into their phones and as soon as we concede it's a copy and paste job onto here. It's the fact they constantly post negative ***** about Clarke, there is never anything positive and it's these demands for the HC to be sacked.

 

I think Bolton fans might disagree they were relegated to the 4th tier a few seasons back.

 

Just seen the goals, two beauties, and what a pass from Nwakali from the deadball, perfect precision and pace. Lovely stuff.

 

A Christmas miracle - we agree about something!

On a serious note, hope you've had a good Christmas. I know we've had our ups and downs on here, but hope it's been a good un.

 

After the utter shambles of the Leyton Orient game, we've bounced back with a thoroughly deserved victory, two superb goals, an excellent display, the perfect antidote. It was good to see Connell & Phillips back to something like their best.
I'm one happy bunny tonight.

Good job we won today - just heard Clarke say he gave them Xmas day off - which following the Leyton Orient game was more than generous so they defo owed him that win today!

 

You forget that he had them in on the Sunday to go thru the LO game .

 

Yes it's been a good one abit better after today's result. And same to you hope you've had a good Xmas and all the best for new year mate.

 

Ah so you think the team worked out that if they chucked the LO game they would get dragged in and then get Xmas day off instead. Fair play if that’s the case!

 

Enjoyed that outing today.

Was fearing the worst after experiencing the keech on Saturday but a great comeback from the team. Credit to the head coach and players for the turnaround but I can't get too carried away as that Bolton team was extremely poor.

The drive home tomorrow - back to Scotland - will be quite enjoyable now.

 

Much better from the Reds, worked hard from the first minute, unlucky to go in at the break 0-1 down. Second half was pretty much all Reds, could have had 3. Even O'Keefe played well, very impressed with him today.

 

Is this a fair comment, from one of their fans ?. We only 'just about' deserved it ehh!.

" At half time I thought this was the worst Barnsley team I have ever seen. Their manager's half time talk changed things, and they just about deserved the win. Bolton crying out for a better manager. "

 

I don't think it's fair, we outshot the Home team....more on target, had more corners,one goal disallowed and a good shot off the post.
The only thing they had an edge on was refereeing decisions and goalkeeper saves.

 

Yeah that's the impression I get from reading our fans comments. Although we might be a bit biased there of course lol.
It sounds like we've battled and taken the game to them, and have largely outplayed them.
And against an awful home team favouring ref!.
