Good first half performance. They move the ball well but they don’t hurt you much necessarily. McClean could have had five bookings, should have had two. He’s got none. Also it’s the first time I’ve been sat in the stands and not contributed to a match thread during a half for a good while, maybe all season at home, so by that measure at least it must be a whole lot better.
From the BBC: "Wrexham's eight-game unbeaten run is under major threat on a ground where they've failed to win since 2016." Given we haven't played them at Oakwell since 2004 that's some achievement from them to win here in 2016
He was. Yes he gave the ball away a couple or three times but he’s ruled the middle of the park from where I’m sat.
Thought we were very good, even ignoring two excellent strikes. The back 3 have been good. Shout out for McCarthy, very solid and composed for someone whose really not played any serious football until recently.
The only thing that Wrexham have over us is belief and momentum, if we can get that into our players then we'll take some stopping.
Pretty sure they haven’t. Yet … just like we don’t win at Wrexham. Just hoping the jinx is still in place
Imho fantastic to be 2..0 up. Wrexham set off and I thought oh oh....their passing and ball retention first class and we were chasing the game right up to our goal....which came out of the blue. Really surprised we got the second but great finish and well done Watters in the assist. When I saw he had dropped Pines gor Earl, I was flapping but so far touch wood the back three has done pretty well. For all their possession they haven't had many shots and I put that down to how well we have closed them down. Not all over this and can see them getting a goal but if we apply ourselves we can do this.
Nah next goal is the really important one. If we get it we can relax if they get it it’s going to be very stressful
Come on reds. Desperate to win today. I have alot of customers wrexham fans and be nice to win indeed. COYRs
