Never had their pork pies, but Béres roast pork sandwiches are the business.

Barnsley indoor market used to do some lovely pork pies.
But I once made the mistake of having one there as a lunch/dinner in one of the Cafe's. All warmed up with mushy peas, absolutely awful it was!!.
But the pot of coffee was nice lol, it almost made up for it.

The best I’ve had in recent times was from McQuillans (sp) at Royston.

They used to be. Very poor these days. Done away with the usual crackling and now have some poor imitation. Plus every member of staff in the shop gets to handle the sandwich, and they usually get the order wrong. Shocking customer service.

A warm Percies (not boiling hot jelly down the chin) is a wonderful experience. :).

    3. Percy turner's.
Melton Mowbray, bottom of any list.
Now we're on the east coast there's some great quality pies and especially Yorkshire sausage rolls.

Does Percy Tanner still sell em ?.
Morrison's used to do them nicely, just freshly warm out of the oven. But then they went downhill I'm afraid.

Pork from Hillsborough, you couldn't make it up.

But why would you want to give your money to that area?
