I'm guessing there's about 10,000 Barnsley fans turn up to each home game. It's probably been a lot fewer at many games, but let's go with 10,000. 99.99% of 10,000 is 9,999. Leaving just 1 Barnsley fan who isn't truly behind JAQ. Whoever it is, they've got a hell of a set of lungs on them because that song sounds like it's being sung by a lot more than 1 person.

I'm not sure that denying what is clearly apparent, that there is a significant and vocal element within the fanbase that doesn't like JAQ and is prepared to be abusive towards her, is a particularly good strategy.

Irony being he’s always very vocal spouting his opinions but by his own admission, hasn’t been to a game in years

Not just that I was at the fans forum last year really didn’t like her attitude, don’t like the way she’s come across and I have another fundamental reason that I won’t go into, just say it’s to do with the academy pitch the ladies team and other bookings being gazumped and leave it at that.

Don,t you find it refreshing though that we have an active board member who's introduced womens football to Oakwell and instrumental in kit design.
I get the feeling one or two don't like her because she is a strong personality who can handle herself.

Misogynists generally don’t like women that stand up for themselves.

That’s all there is to it really.

I must have gone totally deaf. Didn't hear hear owt from where I was sat yesterday. East lower. One way is to drown the buggers out wi summat else but that might just antagonize em to do it more. It is far louder away and an embarrassment given lots of immature adults join in.
Have I missed summat n'all about Granty the red supposedly thrown out at the Wrexham game. Can only think on the songs issue if so. I noticed he disappeared on here when accused of being involved in the fracas in the top corner of the ponty a while ago. ?

Whilst I'll not pile on the JAQ issue re the song which is unacceptable imo.
But the directors are not beyond criticism. I have had several issues over many years way before this lot took over back to John Dennis's Days through to the Cryne era etc. Always championing fan issues. I have always dealt in private with some success on occasion.
Some of the stuff that goes out on social media is abhorrent to say the least. And needs addressing. Not sure how, if I was in a profession where such vile stuff came back at me. I'd stay as far away as possible. The worst of the worst will always take centre stage and others follow suit. Surely that would take it's toll.

Especially women that stand up for themselves in traditionally male dominated areas.

He was thrown out but not for singing this song or for singing at all.

He was escorted out by stewards after sprinting (well, as much as he sprints) towards the corner flag in front of the disabled stand to scream abuse at Wrexham players.

As I said in the thread at the time, I’m sure away from football he’s probably a nice fella. I don’t think there’s any huge harm or malice in him.

But he’s always too many drinks in and lacking too many brain cells when it comes to football. He’s an embarrassment to the club and the rest of us fans, to himself, and especially to his son and family.

    Thanks.
Yet the younger element look up to him as a bit of a character getting naked from the waste up. Needs to get his act together by the sounds of it. I'm guessing handing him a megaphone wasn't the right thing to do at the outset lol.

Given she kops for it - whilst Neerav, Flatman, Sormaz get nothing tells you everything you need to know given the amount of influence she actually has on footballing decisions at the club.

It is ill thought out, revelled in by lots of little boys who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, and defended by people who also defend the Manvers rioters.

There will be in my opinion a strong correlation to those folk with people who voted for and still believe in Brexit, and regard Nigel Farage and Tommy Robinson as modern day heroes.

    Needs stamping out.

Yes the fact she’s at long last promoting the women’s game ( although can’t recall any updates last few months).
Instrumental in the kit design yeah missed that off my reasons for not liking her, the stars one was okay last year the three this year someone should be hung drawn and quartered for !

Apart from not liking most kits over the last couple of yrs. Which tbf i agree mate. I think she had the biggest input.
The Club imo have been neglectful in the Fanatics **** show. Not just kits, And the sooner we can get back to self managing imo the better. And that cannot be laid at her door alone.
