Wigan fans seem pretty happy that he's gone back to United, though the consensus seems to be that their system didn't suit him.
5 goals across 39 appearances for Altrincham, Burton & Wigan, but highly rated at Man United. He could either ignite his career with our midfield supplying him chances, or he could stink the place out. Same with that lad from Ilkeston. You just never know.
Not for me. Reports just before New Year were saying Wigan were keen on not keeping him as he’s playing above what he’s capable of. Now being linked with Port Vale a league below. Hype around him seems to be higher than what he actually is.
I wouldn’t mind testing out the waters with a different united striker, Ethan Wheatley. Preference would definitely be someone seasoned though, maybe coming back from injury and in the higher leagues, or just out of frame for his team.
I wouldn't mind a punt on him either, mentioned him last year but I certainly think that would have been too soon. Still very young, but great record in the youth leagues, picked up odd fews minutes of premier league football for United last season, and good physique. Wouldn't be against looking into a loan. Might be another Dane Scarlett though and deceive me.
Two L1 clubs have apparently spoken to Blackburn about Harry Leonard who fits the mould of someone coming back from injury needing minutes - did score for them on boxing day in Championship I think
Can't say I know a lot about him myself but all the comments from Blackburn I saw on the post saying clubs had been in touch about him were really positive. They clearly rate him a lot!
