Sadly he'd be off target & the Rocket would probably be found 50 miles away on the outskirts of Stevenage. Your post made me chuckle though...
Their fans now think there is a good chance of it being off especially as they have some injuries and we are on form https://www.smfserver.com/forums/th...1.0.html?PHPSESSID=mikkcujcorblh5b8h02qffd8f5
See what I mean about these shithouse teams pleading for games to be called off? We need to get out of this league…..
No. That’s just the fans not fancying it, there’s no evidence that the club have that attitude, plus if the games rearranged, many of our fans will seek refunds, how does that help Northampton’s coffers?
Someone on Northampton's forum has said that the covers they have should protect from a frozen pitch so long as the air temperature isn't over -6 degrees (and have linked the manufacturers website). Though they're begging for a postponement because they've got a few injuries, including Cameron McGeehan who's having a great season by all accounts. Given the temperature isn't forecast to drop below -4 even overnight in Northampton, if they keep the pitch covered, the game should be on.
If the pitch is deemed fit, they will pull the old areas around the stadium are dangerous to fans.Seemed to be alright for Man utd v Liverpool though didn't it !. Money talks.
Given that they won last week and are on a bit of an 'up' I would have thought playing us on a slightly dodgy pitch would be in their interest.
It's 0° in Northampton now, dropping to -5° tonight, forecast to be 1° at 3pm tomorrow, but it'll be colder in the ground, cos it always is there. No chance this is on, we'll know for certain soon............
My mate's son, Jack Baldwin, the one who scored the equaliser at our place, is out injured too. Central defender.
