    Saw someone on X saying we wanted him again this window (not sure how true that is) but we only wanted a loan.

    Huddersfield have obviously stumped up a decent fee to buy him and no way we would be able to match that.

    Just like I said in the summer, we should’ve been all over him but our board won’t show the intent to go & get someone of his ability.

    We’ll end up with someone from a Championship club that’s been crocked for 6 months and will take weeks to get fit….

    Just like loads of people said, you have absolutely no idea whether we did go in for him or not. Paid almost a million for DKD whilst losing money every season, not to mention not selling our best assets. I don't know what you expect. You refuse to support the owners yet moan moan moan when they don't spend bucket loads.

    Pretty sure it was widely reported we did try in summer for a loan along with loads of other L1 clubs but Luton never let him go as they needed him for cover on their bench.

    I agree if we have any kind of ambition he’s the type of player we should be in for.would be the difference between top 6 and top 2.

    No point getting wound up over someone we may or may not have been after.

    You can have ambition and still not be able to get him. I have ambitions of driving a BMW but I won’t financially ruin myself committing to something I can’t afford.

    Equally we could stump up the money and he might still prefer Huddersfield. They probably have a better chance of promotion. Better squad. Bigger attendances. Better home atmosphere. Etc.

    Or we might be focusing on someone else under the radar who we believe is even better.

    I think he would be a great addition, I thought we'd finish top 6 pre-season without him though, I still think it now, I didn't think we'd be in top 2 without him, I don't think we would have with him. Would've been great in play off games.

    We have absolutely no clue if we were in for him, apparently we were. I'm not going to rage at the club when I don't have a clue about anything though

    That’s fine ok he goes somewhere else but at least try some of the garbage we have spent of foreign crap in the last few years that we have wrote money off for.he would be an investment .
