Can anyone find a link? One of the best goals I've ever seen at the well.

Think it was around 2001 when I first started attending but some reason it sticks in my head.

Zico Aranalde. Yes we won 4-1. Was there and it got a round of applause from all of Oakwell.

I was 16 one of my first games.

They had the last laugh though, coming back from behind to win 2-1 in the return game and push us towards the drop. Think Don Goodman got their winner but I might be wrong.

Bruce Dyer scored a beauty from a tight angle to equalise.

Could’ve sworn we were winning that game. Your memory is a lot better than mine!

No, you could be right mate. We might have scored first. Random memory of Paul Gibbs having his best game in a reds shirt if I’ve got the right game.

Edit. Dyer did score first. Byfield & Goodman for them, and they had a man sent off.

I seemed to remember we had the game won and somehow contrived to lose it, I’d forgotten they were down to 10.

I'm glad other people remember this!

The best goal I've ever seen in the flesh.

I have to say that the best goal I've seen aganst us "in the flesh" was Trevor Sinclairs' overhead kick against us in the 90s at Loftus Road. It was like Darren Barnards goal against Huddersfield but with a player marking him and a bicycle kick on the apex of the penalty area.
It was shown frequently on the opening scenes of "Match of the Day" for a few years afterwards.
I was just to the right of the goal as
s the shot came in - and, I, along with many BFC fans present applauded it.

Won Goal of the Season that year, deservedly.

Stunned away just slowly stood up and applauded, myself included.

Remember Hignett scoring a great goal against Walsall a couple of years earlier. Think it was either 3-2 winner or 3-3 equaliser.

Also remember a player called Dean Keates scoring for them in same match. Only remember that because at the time I always used to buy him on CM3 :D

Yeah, they/Warsaw came back to beat us that day 2-1 (near the end of season '01), despite even having a player sent off. And I think the dreadful Don Goodman even scored against us that day didn't he!.
