Man City 3 up against Salford, is it really worth watching second half?, Salford will have made some brass but it is really a non event now, ....why this was picked for tv is beyond me, I like lot of others used to be big fan of the F.A. Cup
Kitching with his first goal of the season and it happens to be against one of our South Yorkshire rivals. It's like when Josh Brownhill scored the other week against United which means he's scored against both Sheffield clubs this season. They never forget.
The FA cup is now a total joke. Ruined by corporates and has further taken football away from the common man. Yet the media still like to talk about the 'magic' of the FA cup as if its still like it was when we won it. Money, premier league greed, tv directives have ruined it. Vehicle for top teams to play youth if they can't be arsed. Vehicle for top teams to win it if they can't win owt else. Its hollow now and no amount of media deception will make me change my mind. I know some lower league clubs still make a few quid but its peanuts in today's game. Like much of the rest of football its been ruined. A lot of young fans won't know any better so won't notice anything demoralizing about it and they'll get sucked into the pretend hype but I know its not the same now because I have a bit of memory left. Sorry for rant and sorry if I've made anyone depressed!!
Neighbours' come back from Leicester, raving how they were a different league to qpr (yes, really), gonna change their season blah, blah, blah. I told him they'd be OK then next season, when they get to play qpr twice again.......off he scuttled. Orrible club.
