Tommy Tonks sounds like he should be playing for Melchester Rovers.

Brings back awful memories of Loftus Rd, December 1981...

    Bobby Horn properly flummoxed.

More akin to "Dancing on Ice" than "Match of the Day"!

Back in the 80s those plastic pitches were definitely seen as a ‘leveller’. I’ve got scars from playing on Boundary Park with the supporters team as well!

I think the modern versions suit a good footballing team nowadays. Certainly didn’t hamper us at Horsham last season.

Does not look a great pitch, are the lighter patches worn bits or frost?

Tonks just hit the base of the far post with a throw in.

Tamworth have been the best side. They can be proud of themselves.

Far too much is made of the pitch. It's far more modern than those teams like Oldham and Luton had.

He's not without a bit of skill...and he's covered a lot of ground but he must be 2-3 stones overweight.

Wish refs would give over stopping corners to warn people for pushing and pulling! Get the corner taken and then just give the resulting free kick or penalty, the players ( might just) get the message.

Spurs are making a real tow of this having to bring on big guns. Just not that reward for the smaller teams with a money spinning replay proper shame.

Much more like real grass these 5g pitches of today compared to those hard, bristle types from the 80s.

I'm sure Spurs greater fitness will prove the difference and they'll go on to win this in extra time, but they have been appalling.
How many millions for Timo Werner? Waste of space.
Tamworth should have won this already.
