Rumour from Stoke is that Lowe is signing on loan for Huddersfield. Be great if we could sign him!

I watched Walsall's game at the weekend with Tranmere, and although it was a complete mismatch, particularly after Tranmere went down to 10 men, you could see that Lowe was playing at least a league below where he should be.

That being said, he's about the 33rd striker Huddersfield have been linked with in the last fortnight.

It's confirmed now that he's been recalled by Stoke, but it sounds like Robins is keen to try him in their first team.

That was my understanding. He will be a big loss for the Saddlers

I can only see Barnsley signing a back up striker and that would depend if Marsh and Cosgrove are transferred or loaned out.

Aiden Marsh can count himself lucky he’s still at the club, if I was in charge his contract would’ve been ripped up 18 months ago.

The lad is never, ever going to make a career in the Football League….

Abit of a harsh way to put it. I was surprised marsh got a new contract he gives 100% but he's just not good enough sadly. Maybe he should have been loaned out sooner to aid his development and had more competitive game time.

Ideally we get rid of Cosgrove but if not it’s still essential we bring in a better quality striker for the run in otherwise it’s a kick in the teeth for Clarke.

He's had little in the way of opportunities. I'd have played him over Cosgrove in any game this season.

He probably needs to drop down to L2, but could turn out to be a player in later years. He's not tall & lacks a bit of pace, making it hard for him to break through for us at the moment. A bit more guile & experience & he could be a fox in the box striker. It wouldn't suprise me if he came good.

I remember the same being said about David Speedie. And Danny Rose and Jordan Clark and Rory Fallon. And I'm sure there are others. I would also let him go but who knows, he may make it somewhere else.

Never saw that he struggled for game time if I remember right. Just looked only started 3 games and came on as a sub in 4 appearances.

If the lad was on top dollar ,I could see the reasons the knives are out ,look at his wages compared to Cosgrove.
Cozzy as not cut the mustard when he is on good money .

Rumoured to be interest from Sheffield U and Sunderland so I think we can put this one to bed.. and why wouldn't Mark Robins just keep him at least while the summer for a good look..?

Tom Cannon off to Sheff Utd can see Lowe getting minutes at Stoke under Robins tbh Ennis rumoured to be leaving too.
