As in wine? I can drink it until it comes out of my ears and be the nicest bloke on the planet and it doesn't affect me. Beer on the other hand....
I quite like the Big Drop brewery stuff if you can find it. Also Mash Gang brewery have some good low to no stuff.
I can also vouch for the Big Drop range. Also Adnams Ghost Ship 0.5% is a good drink. It’s been around a while but still remains my favourite low/no beer. A lot of the craft brewers are producing good ones now though as it is such a growing market . I am also expecting low/no alcohol wines to start getting better too but at the moment I haven’t come across any decent ones of those.
Really fancied a glass of Red Wine tonight, but have instead made a cup of Lapsang Souchong and cut a slice of Christmas cake.
Top work DS. Are you feeling any benefits from this yet? Have you lost any weight, or feeling fresher on a morning for example?
I’ve lost a bit of weight, however I’m still currently the heaviest I have ever been. It’s hard to say I am feeling fresher in a morning, as new job means I’m up earlier and really the solution is that I need to go to bed earlier, but Finn has other ideas. Apparently I am not snoring as much. I think I will attempt to tie in a diet and exercise in the coming days. I need to start meal prepping instead of grabbing stuff to throw in the oven after work.
Meal prep is hard initially, I did some training last year with a guy who set me a plan…….it was a MACRO based plan, I ate what I wanted within my MACRO’s, if If you download the myfitnesspal app it’s fairly easy to use, you could get some MACRO tips online free of charge and go from there, if you try a bit of light cardio for a few weeks and have a goal like couch to 5k there might be some motivation to achieve a goal
I thought I’d have a go at this but failed on Saturday night when my mate came round to watch the Simpson fight. Good luck to all that’s doing it.
I get mackerel from aldi in red sauce. Its great on toast. Not so great with a hangover though. Had Ravioli on toast for breakfast on Saturday and then nothing until Sunday teatime on account of an awful hangover. Come to conclusion I can't drink gin anymore. Can really taste the ethanol when I'm throwing up. That's twice I've had it after a bender on boxing day and again Saturday. Never, again feel crap. Lost a whole day to hangover on Sunday drifting in and out of sleep with football playing to itself in the back ground.
Delaying is a surprisingly helpful technique. Give it an hour, have something to eat and then see how you feel.
