Really look at how many academy players go on to be professional footballers very low percentage. So to go on a bulletin forum and call out names , think about your your own achievements on Fifa 2024 or your skills on the 5 a side .
I havent played fifa for about 12 years mate so he's already well ahead of me On a serious note, although I understand you know him personally, thousands and thousands of people call footballers ***** every game all across the world. Anyone who has earned a pro contract has a whiff of something about them so if they've worked hard enough fair play to them.
They might have looked babber at a professional level, but I can guarantee that on the grand scale of things, even Paul Gibbs was absolutely ridiculously good at football, to a level that most of us can't comprehend. I always refer to my mate from school. He was so much better than the rest of us in the team it wasn't even funny, and he was two years below us. It was like watching someone from a different planet. His entire professional career? Two substitute appearances for Mansfield Town.
I know many professional footballers ex and existing, they work hard to get where they are, many fall by the wayside. One good pro at BFC who I don't know personally and in my opinion is a very good footballer ,and I am in the minority here,as I get lambasted at games for singing his praises. Jon Russell is a very good player ,I suggested on here when he gets going after a run of games BFC will get going. It is no surprise that we are on a good run and one player standing out is Russell ,also O keefe got stick also about being babba. We can't lace their boots but are very opinionated about their abilities. But hey I suppose that is football. No offence took by the way.
Yes when you think about sports, it really is a unique situation mate. Untold numbers of people who aren't anywhere near your skill level lambasting you every weekend, speaking on it as though they know better than not only the players themselves, but managers who have been doing it 50 years. I'm very guilty of it myself, but as you say, that's just football and sports in general in this day and age
My old neighbour was the same. We played together on the school field for years - and he was always good but 5 years younger than me - but from about 10 he was getting proper coaching and last time I played with him he was running rings around us all. He was literally on the end of a pass before we'd worked out where it was going. He played maybe 20 games in the top 4 divisions - he did play more in the lower leagues though.
I can remember saying on the way back that it hadn’t felt like a win. Couldn’t wait to get back to the car.
https://www.stockportcounty.com/barnsley-tickets-on-sale-this-wednesday/ Home tickets are on sale today, so it shouldn't be too long before we hear about our own.
"Away supporters will be located in the Vitality Railway End for this game" That's the open one behind the goal - means we should get the slightly larger allocation of 1,200 or so
I don't fancy my chances of getting a ticket. I might get one in the home end. Looks simple enough, just got to create an account.
You never know it might reach Tuesday. Things have calmed down since we'd almost sell out some 1k+ allocations in a day during the Stendel season.
