I agree about McNulty. I defended him to the hilt on here because I didn't think he was half as bad as many made out. He was certainly better than Wiseman who occasionally filled in at centre half at that time.

We've been blessed with so many good centre halves that I'm struggling to think of many really poor ones.

I didn't rate Cole Kpekawa, but I think he was a left back.

Adi Viveash, we only had him on loan but he pulled no trees up

He is the only player who I have seen that even his headers were left footed

Bishop was a very competent player.

Huddersfield at home if I remember rightly. Still makes me laugh to this day remembering it. Tried finding a highlight of it but never found one.

If I had the editing skills I could put together a reel of mistakes by John Stones which would have you convinced he was on loan to City from Athersley Rec.

Yeah made a couple of errors. Less in his whole Barnsley career than MDG has made this season at a lower level. I can show you a Roo Ferdinand own goal or two or Franco Baresi mistakes.

But is of course true. If you edit you can make Sam Cosgrove looks like prime time Duncan Ferguson

Well its all about opinions, and in mine, he was generally absolutely gash. The fact that one of the few highlights videos from that era show just how bad he was can be taken as either an aberration ("I can get a video highlights of Pele looking rubbish" defence) or could be indicative of the fact he was, indeed, gash.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that one mate. I thought he was very decent after a sticky start.

Didn't he/Viveash head a goal for us on his debut, in an opening day 4-3 defeat at C.Palace.
And I remember Keith Brown really getting torn inside and out at Wembley, especially in the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half.
And it really cost us promotion, even more so than Barnard's missed penalty.

Yeah that’s the left handed header that sticks most in my mind. Great game to be fair.
