I'm off to Sligo in the Summer. Might get to see him.

    Should smash it over there.
Looked a decent player for us in the championship before the injuries etc

Wow, sad times to see the level he's now at.

Maybe it’s just a chance to start again and rebuild. Good luck to the lad.

Should serve as a bit of an eye-opener to us fans and the board alike as to the quality of the players we're using and producing in my opinion.

Prior to his injury he was playing in our starting side. I know injuries will have effected his options coming back to playing, but if the highest club in the pyramid willing to trial him is Sligo then there's a tale to tell there.

Our academy isn't fit for purpose, or at the very least, we're not getting a good return on investment.

I'd sooner us use those funds and pump them directly into the first team set up.

What have we seen? Marsh? Never making it here in a million years. Wolfe? Released and at Sligo. Bland, Nejman etc. seen bits and bobs in milk cup matches and done nothing.

The only one in recent years is *potentially*, Vimal. And while he's showing promise, it's certainly not guaranteed that he'll become our next big thing out of the Academy.

Return on academy investment is absolutely abysmal. No amount of hype by Bobby Hassell and one or two others can challenge that statement.
It’s not paying its way, simple as.
