Personally I have no problem whatsoever with what Scott posts. If he posts negatives all the time because that's his view, he's frustrated or angry so what? If he doesn't post when Barnsley have won so what? Up to him when he posts stuff. As far as I'm aware he's never insulted anybody but has to put up with constant insults just because he says what he thinks. It really is very poor. If people dont like what he says they should debate with him or ignore him. Its not difficult. The people who tell him to f off and call him names are far worse than he is simply because insults are bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. There's a tradition on the bbs of piling on when it gets a quick 'like' but the guy is a Barnsley fan like we all are and he's entitled to post what he likes when he likes without being subjected to abuse. Play the comments not the man.
P.s. If Barnsley were top of the PL and Scott found reasons to slag off the team I'd read his comments, reply or ignore them.

 

He’s a Bairn

 

Now there’s the problem. While I agree that some people can be offensive, it’s not everyone. Some offer a differing opinion which is his opportunity for debate, but he’s not one for hanging around and backing up his own opinions.

 

I've tried to debate, but he doesn't. He pops up, posts negative after negative post, then ignores any opposite view point when challenged and dissapears. He then turns up again when we lose again, however long the gap is. He does not debate.

That's why I lost it with him the other day. We'd been on a really good run of form, had been outstanding over Christmas and New Year, and there was radio silence from him. The first time we've lost in a while and he's here. I stand by everything I said, and if anyone has a problem with that then they're free to report me.

 

I can see your point if you get frustrated with another poster. I just dont like to see people get insulted. That's all. We obviously come at it from different angles.

 

Yeah I can see that point. I was wound up in the heat of the moment after a loss.
