My take is it's been an ordinary season. Been some decent performances against Birmingham, Wrexham and Wycombe who have got away a little bit.

We've dropped points against some 5 hite and the overall feeling around the club is a bit meh.

Doing a good job given the circumstances but he's bound to be feeling a bit flat too.

Nothing really happened this season. Almost anti climactic.

Just feel like we're floating along.

Been dealt a poor hand with recruitment and put together about the best side he could from it in the meantime. Hes done better than I expected tbh.

We’re better than we were last season with a weaker squad. He’s got his hard to beat most game and we’ve looked good at times. People will compare whatever manager we have in this league to Michael Duff and despite him not being as good as him, he’s got a far weaker squad.

Based on performances and what I’ve seen elsewhere, I’d expect us to get top six. The performances against Wrexham at home, Bolton and Wycombe show we are very capable. Unfortunately inconstancy has let us down, meaning we won’t be anywhere near the top two. Orient and Bristol Rovers showed how frail we can be at the back and numerous sides have shown us how wasteful we can be up top.

I do expect a striker to come in but to what level, we don’t know.

I'm not sure Duff is a better manager. The squad he had with us compared to now is miles apart, especially in defence and goalkeeper, and strikers actually. I probably would put Duff just ahead but not sure id be confident on it. Clarkes worst asset so far has been his subs, but I do think that's improved as the season has gone on

Doing a good job imo, playing better football than last season and to have us in the mix with alot weaker squad than the last 2 managers is a achievement alone. Don't like the public hammering of players at times but apart from that so far so good.

6.5 out of 10. Football is better and more entertaining than Collinsball. Recruitment was poor in the summer. We are at least 2 forwards light.

it seemed a strange appointment at the time for a club looking for promotion. An average lower end L1 / top of L2 manager and nothing has happened to shake that opinion. I had hoped that he would seize the biggest opportunity of his career and he hasn’t quite done that.

Seems a better manager the fewer choices he has to make. The changes last Saturday being an example of that alongside the subs that generally make us worse.

Deserves time to see if he can make the step up.

8 out of 10. Mostly done well with the occasional daft decision like changing a winning team.

The run of 4 in a row have upgraded him from 'yuk' to 'meh'. As Jimmy Viz says, it was an odd choice. Lower league journeyman and it can sometimes show. And i've still not forgiven him for Old Trafford which was way beyond stupid.

I don't mind the comments re poor performance. The one thing that makes me think this guy doesn't know what he's doing when come out after games and spout loads of nonsense. I think Clarkes a hard working bloke who wants to succeed at our club not much more you can ask for in my book.

When you consider how much our defence has weakened over the last few years and how many goals were taken out of the team last summer, I think he’s doing a decent job. There’s been some incredibly poor matches this season but then when isn’t that the case? The games have also been a lot more entertaining than they were last season. I still have very boring nightmares about Blackpool at home from last season.

I said at the start of the season we wouldn’t have enough for automatic promotion but we should be in and around the playoffs and that’s where we currently are. Let’s hope we can have a good last week in the transfer window and push on for this second half of the season.

    Still 'meh' from me.

Hard watch a lot of the time, we still seem fragmented and the defensive structure hasn't improved. Some odd selections, some very poor substitutions and I find it pointless listening to his dour informationless interviews.

Clearly the squad is imbalanced and we've got inconsistent levels of quality, so it's not all on him.

Very very weak division, so despite all that, I'd still expect us to challenge top six, if he fails, I've no doubt he'll be sacked.

I would grade his time so far as B -
He’s done well thus far with the squad at his disposal, we are 2 strikers short, & the squad is full of dead wood. He needs at least a couple of transfer windows to put his stamp into the side.

Imho you have to look at all his attributes.
Has he been good?.....well he has a poor squad, which is very imbalanced. Difficult when you don't have a real striker but I would say overall he's been ok.
Formation wise he has to go with recruitment model...so its 5...3...2....and he has defenders who are up and down...decent but mistakes...is this down to coaching I'm not sure as the midfield lads have the same traits, its like they look like championship standard then pub players within 30 mins and can't play a five yard pass.
I kind of think he's done ok...the football in patches has been very good but it IS in patches...maybe I expect more.
His motivation seems pretty good and he seems to gave a good spirit among the players...his subs at time and player choice are questionable (Nwakali not starting more)...footy as I say a better watch than last season.
I think its a wait and see...so far ok but I want to judge when he has a decent striker....which I feel won't be this year.
Give him more time....up to now 7 out of 10 ish.

He's a 7.5 imo, performance's have improved which considering the squad, is an achievement itself, he can only play with the hand he's been dealt. My only reservation's are his subs and occasionally team selections, when players are injured and whoever comes in does well I don't think the team should change , I would continue with an unchanged winning side. I also ask myself, who would replace him, it could be much worse.

Old Trafford really p****d me off but I seemed in the minority. We made a right show of ourselves there against a very mediocre Utd side. To turn up and play such a high line away at a Prem club was suicide. Bonkers.

Poor, recruitment hasn't been the best, but even so with these players some performances, and decisions, have been unacceptable. The Leyton Orient and Bristol Rovers cup games are two recent ones, I don't see that we can have a worse team on paper then either of those, but got nailed by Orient and were totally ineffective against Rovers.

It did me too. Playing Jalo & Yoganathan from the start instead of our best eleven was really poor. It just felt like they were happy to take the pay day & experience playing at Old Trafford without any interest in been competitive.

It was the stupidest team selection and tactics since Bassett at Wembley in 2000.
