I pop into this forum every hour or so to check up but all I ever see is an update on Trump's inauguration.

Other than saying nowt imminent. But aware of work behind the scenes. I've not heard owt to the contrary. Certainly nothing concrete.

 

It’s really poor we needed bodies in first week of window but the four results papered over the cracks.

 

We have a dof on so what means’s we don’t make any panic signings anymore.

 

We aren't in a position financially to just bulldoze clubs though, we have to work with them. If we can't get a transfer in because his current club is waiting on getting their replacement done first, I'd rather us wait and get our main targets first than just get any tom, dick & harry.
Lot's of clubs are hit with FFP so they're being much more subtle, unfortunately it has an affect trickling down.

In saying that, come the 4th of Feb, if we don't have new recruitments then I'll be annoyed because we have a great opportunity!

 

Thay have to be the right signings ,players who will improve our side ,not for the sake of making signings.
I still maintain a good commanding experienced centre half ,would help us so taking off the pressure off us scoring 2 or 4 goals to win games ,I'm OK winning 1 0 or even 2 1.
We have not been good enough at the back .

 

All just excuses we are a professional football club other clubs have strikers we should be getting at least one! you can come up with all the bluster and excuses fir the club you want this has gone on for 12 months now and is wholly unacceptable.
I have never known a time in all my years watching the Reds where we have been so pathetic up top and have not addressed an obvious shortcoming like now.
Anything less than promotion is a disaster in my opinion, yes that’s been the case for the last two seasons but there will be a definite decrease in the clubs finances come August so they need to do whatever to address it.

Last summer is when we should’ve been getting strikers in. We knew from January that Cole was leaving. The January window is notoriously difficult to get the right players in unless you have money to throw at it like Huddersfield. It’s unforgivable that we’ve let it get to this stage.
