I don't want to put the cat among the pigeons so to speak but the players who seem to escape criticism are the likes of connell and Roberts but the same posters don't mind slating others every week but never mention those stinking the place out.

Connell has needed dropping for weeks but seems to have immunity with the armband.

Roberts has been poor since he came back and Clarke broke up a winning side to get him back in.

Twice he got the ball in acres of space never afforded to Farrugia and twice he tried the Hollywood pass and made a lovely person of himself.

    The rest is history

Pines is underrated and can feel unlucky to have been dropped.

I agree mate, the team seemed more cohesive and dynamic under Duff and Connell shone in it.

I don't think playing him further forward helped him today. It should have been either connell or Nwakali.

Id have liked to have seen them swap positions with Nwakali playing further forward.

I did like the Stevenage away kit. Very Hobart Hurricanes.

Why he won’t try that when he’s insistent on selecting Connell is beyond me. Connell sitting makes sense. Playing him further up doesnt.

Either play them both with Nwakali further up - or just play Nwakali.

I agree, Nwakalis passing from deep is fantastic but ultimately leads to nothing, so why not try him further forward to slip ball's through for the strikers.

I've also said that myself on here, that Connell is living off the good things he did in the Duff season. Two seasons ago now!!.
Just like Styles as well, he 'dined out' on the Val Ismael season, for two or more seasons.

Connells was poor against Bristol in the deeper role he was subbed and rightly so. Today it's like Clarke thought I know ill play him further up see if he's any better.

They're up against my team on Monday in the Final of BBL 14.

Last place last season with one win, and in the final this season. Quite an upturn.

Funny thing about that game was it had the feeling of a 0-0 from early in the game, but we somehow managed to turn it into another defeat.

I really don't think our lot can use the excuse either Fitz, of it being unlucky because it was in stoppage time.
Like we did and we were entitled to say, at Wrexham for example.

The first 30 minutes of the second half was vital for me, we should have come out firing but when we didn't it was all about wether they would capitalize. We're so fragile and credit to them for taking advantage.
