To match the atmosphere and performances, I would suggest something by Leonard Cohen.

It's not working trying to force on fans ancient songs other clubs have done to death and have no link to our town or club.

We have Holly Tandy working at Oakwell. She's sung on one of the biggest reality TV shows in the country. I'm sure she could put together an upbeat original song for fans to adopt. Could even allow fans to send in lyrics or general song ideas so she knows what the general consensus is of the fanbase.

Genuinely think we could do a lot worse than either "You are my sunshine" which is already sung or:

"This is my love, my town
Makes up for when I feel down
    It's alive, it's a treasure
It's the fight that keeps us together"

    From the Civic Green song

I don't think the Civic Green song is a good one to sing along to, l don't think it's that type of song.

Isn't the FAB formed for stuff like this? Maybe they should put a poll out to supporters to vote on a song.

What the hell is that ? I’d sooner be back in lockdown and another dose of Covid than listen to that again.

It's awful, we should stop it immediately. It has no connection to football or Barnsley and is deeply associated with country music in the USA.

Bring back "Fanfare for the Common Man" by ELP which although it has no connection to football or Barnsley, it is a great tune whereas "Country Roads" is rubbish.
