If he is recallable it would be absolute irresponsible and ambitionless if we don't recall this guy given our current defensive frailties. Rave review at heart of the defence of an in form L2 top three club with joint third best defensive record.
Why would we recall him? He's playing consistently, doing well and we have Earl who plays in his position. I get the clamour but a couple of bad games for us and he's **** again - leave him where he is & let him keep getting better.
Let him help Bradford get promoted this year and he will go into the heart of our defence next year replacing pines (doesn't look like we will extend his contract) and Roberts who will be backup.
Perhaps we could call that 16 year old centre back up to the match day squad while Roberts is out suspended.
Maybe. We've got Earl/Pines/McCarthy fit and available - I'd rather we did that and started dipping into academy than cutting loans short of players doing OK. Frustrating that we're not using it more imho to give a chance where we're clearly lacking numbers IE up front.
I thought he was generally decent when he did play for us. He had one bad game and suddenly there was a mass pile on. Cheltenham raved about him last season and Bradford this so he can’t be that bad.
