And religious festivals? It seems like every year there are multiple deaths from crowd surges. Imagine just going to something like that and not coming back? It’s like they never learn. Its just not right.
There have been crush fatalities at music events and sporting events, including in this country. I don't think race or religion come into it, just large volumes of people.
I absolutely hate large uncontrolled crowds, nearly got crushed at Leeds festival, it was very dangerous.
Coming out of away end at millmoor back in the day ,went full length of the alleyway off my feet was very scary
This is sailing very close to what’s acceptable. Associating behaviour with an entire nationality is inaccurate and quite probably offensive - especially when that behaviour includes tragic deaths. I’m sure there’s absolutely no ill intent here, but the words are clumsy at best.
Just a mile around the bend there's a hidden cave and we can watch those Cherokees go galloping by. End of problem.
Any list of the worst crowd crushes ever would include the Haj in Saudi Arabia, the Halloween crush in Seoul, and the Hillsborough, Heysel, Ibbrox, Malang (Indonesia) and Luzniki disasters. The last 5 were in football stadiums.
No ill intent whatsoever, why the fk would anybody even think that! OK maybe I should have said India, but its a recurring, the most recent tragedy being today. I just think its really sad, seems to happen every year , its announced that crowds are gathering for whatever festival and you just know its going to end in tragedy I just can't see why their government don't get involved with proper organisation!
Talking about 'Indians' I once knew a few cowboys. One constantly insulted people and one had leaky boots. Tex Piss and Tex Watter. The last guy I knew had no legs - he was a low down bum!
