I take you don't think grown men with families and young children who need to go to school locally don't look at this stuff?

Killip for instance, took some mental stick before fans had even seen him play, dogs abuse. He's actually done pretty well for us. Do you not think players take all this into consideration?

6'2 is not small for a goalkeeper? Not huge either, but certainly about average.

    This about sums it up.

There's absolutely no need to sign another keeper. Killip is far from the weakest player in our first eleven.

    Bizarre.

The positivity of fans before signing for a club? What you're basically saying there is "do players take a clubs form into account before signing?" Because that's the only difference in the positivity of Barnsley fans to Birmingham fans for example. We aren't unique

Probably offered him a crappy wage but a large clean sheet bonus, after seeing our defence he said no thanks ;)

Difference between getting called **** when first signing and then dogs abuse. I'm not really sure why you seem so against the fact that people generally see what they're getting into before starting a new job. If you don't think they take it into consideration fair enough. I do.

Do you think Barnsley fans are different to fans of all other clubs then?

No idea. Don't think so, I probably just see it more because I'm a fan of the same club. Does that matter? If Will Norris is picking up a wage at Portsmouth sitting on the bench, everything dandy, then gets an offer from us, you don't think he would look into everything first? He won't get more money from us than he's on at Portsmouth, he might get roughly the same, just more game time. You don't think he would think is it worth it? Especially if he has kids who go to local schools. I never said they do, I said I believe they would. I know I would.

What I'm saying is that fans of all clubs are the same. If a club is performing well and winning games then fans are positive. If they are performing badly and losing games fans are negative. So what I'm getting at is that all you're really asking is "do you think players take a clubs form into account when signing" unless you think we are somehow unique in the football world and have awful fans unlike anyone else. If you accept we are just the same as other clubs then all a player is really taking into account is form because that's what is directly dictating fans moods.

I'm not arguing that you're wrong as such Im just trying to say that we are all the same in general so looking at any teams social media engagement and positivity is really just looking at a clubs form because that's what sets the level of positivity that they see.

He isnt a Burnley fan on his X account at all.

What it says is ‘forever a claret, wolf, U and crow’. His previous permanent clubs being Burnley (clarets), Wolves (self explanatory), Cambridge United (U), and Royston Town (crow).

He’s from Watford. Not Burnley. He’s spent three years at a northern club and barely played there.

    No it isnt.

The average height of starting keepers in the premier league is six foot two. The winner of the golden glove last season is barely six foot.

The current holder of most clean sheets in league one this season is Murphy Cooper at Stevenage. He’s six foot one.

Killip has limitations - but his height isn’t one of them.

Those two are both listed as six foot.

Killip is six foot two. He is taller.

What are you basing it on, saying he isn’t? How he looks from the stands, or on tv?

The stats you get online are all consistent in the heights listed. They won’t all be wrong - the research done by the stats sites and video games companies is huge. He isn’t great in the air, which might make him look short. But he isn’t.

I was actually only messing about because i'm taller than 6 feet 2, but you can't seriously tell me you think killip is taller than Liam Roberts? According to transfermarkt Killip is 1.88m and Roberts is 1.95m. Anyone with eyes can see Roberts is taller. Killip is about 6'2 and Roberts is 6' 4 easy.
