Just interested in knowing your bowel movements.

Yesterday I dropped the kids off twice at work and three times at home. Five trips in a day which I can’t remember matching in the 42 years I’ve been alive. I don’t count the few occasions I’ve had food poisoning or sickness and diarrhoea. They were exceptional circumstances.

It got me wondering how regular you all are.

    Better than discussing Barnsley innit.

For context, I’m usually a two to three a day man.

So at some point in the day up to going your admitting you're full of 5hit ...lol
That said I'd say I average out at 4 times a day but that's down to my vegan diet.

Depends on diet and exercise. Normally have a turd when I get up. Then one after my lunchtime walk and one about tea time.

If I'm on ale I'm like leaky arse. Darent fart. Had three 5hi ts in Barnsley and one in Chimneys in Wakey.

    Reckon it's cider.

To be fair, my stomach isn't great so I have a very specific diet too with meds, been like it for years. I just couldn't imagine going to the loo 4 times a day for a baba!

Almost, had a big problem with tramadol for about 7 years. Been clean for almost 4 years now but it's left my innards like spaghetti. Started having seizures and every time I went hospital I was malnourished & dehydrated, just didn't have any appetite what soever and eating was a real chore. Haven't really had an appetite since but doesn't feel so much like a chore anymore! My own stupid fault - I'm only 31. I dread to imagine what I'll be like at 41!:D

I remember speaking about this a couple of years ago after someone shared a story about themselves struggling, got loads of support & made me feel great. Well worth talking on here because everyone comes together. It's proper brilliant to see. Bittersweet memories because nobody likes talking about bad stuff, but certainly a fond memory for me also seeing how lovely everyone was to a complete stranger on here bud:) Edit - even people who don't usually agree on a lot were all great too

1-2 a day. I would suggest anyone averaging over 2 a day perhaps needs to think about their diet.

Mine isn’t great I hasten to add.

I'm regular as clockwork for having a huge dump straight after my first coffee in a morning, a proper good excavation. Then sometimes a second about 2hrs later, but not every day.

There are fewer finer things in life than a strong morning coffee followed shortly afterwards by a big poo.

    Similar to me.

Not getting those that have a poo multiple times a day.

They can't be doing the first one right :D

Whilst on the subject of number 2s where possible it has to be on your own throne.

That’s a relatively normal day for me. IBS is the family weakness - my grandad developed bowel cancer too; uncle has a scan next week with it suspected.

Currently on a timber cutting regime, need some weight off for health reasons (liver), so I’m maybe down to two daily, three at a push.

I’m on naproxen though which plays havoc with my guts. Have to take Lansoprazole to keep it in check.

When my knee gets bad enough to warrant the co-codamol on top of the naproxen I drop to one or two.

You can set your watch to my 1st bowel movement of the day. 7:25am without fail. Which is slightly concerning when I'm still asleep beyond 7:25am most mornings.
All joking aside, at least twice a day. One pre breakfast, and one prior to my tea. Can't beat a good empty twice a day.
