A club serious about trying to get promoted who are in desperate need of a goal scoring striker does not sign a non league standard foreign striker with 7 goals in two seasons who may not be able to play for weeks due to work permit requirements. They are taking the piss pure and simple
But a club serious about promotion might blow its transfer budget on the best player in League Two might they? One where they've spent more than they wanted to get him in at the end of the last transfer window? And that might end up meaning they've not got massive room to maneuver a few months later in Jan? I know things aren't going well but it's also very possible we're just skint at the minute & we're shopping in places we all wish we weren't.
I’m sure we all have. I’ve also had a load of cheap tat too. Bargain hunting at its best. Nothing wrong with the occasional trip to M&S though - for a treat!
Easy to notice the OP has got previous form for it, the only difference between him and Scott is Scott makes it more obvious as he targets every losing match day.
Yeah. I agree. Different levels but they are definitely falling down a rabbit hole which is sad really.
Good, Why not put it up in the penalty area at Oakwell it'll probably score more than our new french striker
