Posted on another thread got to be gone eventually with transfer activity. The board are either selling the club or lost faith in him. The only two things that explain the transfer window. They're propping club up anyway so lack of activity can't be financial.
Feel for him because if the transfer don't work out that have been given to him, he will end up jobless and those responsible for this transfer window will carry on as normal.
This is the cycle that keeps recurring now unfortunately, a head coach paid to put the cones out, work with a set formation and have only a small input into recruitment. Clarke will inevitably go and we'll back to a ever decreasing recruitment pool due to coaches not wishing to operate that way.
Yeah kid, I also suggested that on my 'If we sack Clarke' thread. That our reputation might have been ruined already. And it will just keep making hiring a new manager/coach harder and longer to do, in the future.
I was wrong when we hired Stendel and Ismael, as I thought what do they know about the Efl etc lol. But the idea of a cheap foreign so called yes-man coming in again next, doesn't give me any confidence.
People weren't happy with Collins or alot currently with Clarke mate. I couldn't give a monkeys where they are from, British or otherwise. Results matter (although not to some, ala Collins) only for me, and anyone who can get the best results, fine by me. Britain, Uzbekistan, China, Vanuatu, couldn't care less. I'm not really sure why being British means they have an advantage. Loads of coaches in top tiers of English football aren't British and they're a cut above English talent. No English man has ever won the premier league, none would come close as it stands. It does appear our managers have got incrementally worse, which is a huge concern however
I cannot fathom how people are still calling for him to go. He’s been given no support whatsoever. The squad is worse than what it was. We desperately needed strikers. We all assumed that would be fixed. It hasn’t been. It’s actually worse than what it was. I feel for DC. He’s been absolutely stitched up.
He has been dealt an extremely bad hand, however I do think he will have had an input on some of the departures. Buck stops with those upstairs though, those incomings are tragic. Would not be surprised if CH is in charge for next home game
We all as fans need to remember the backing of the manager or complete lack of it when results go against us' and we need to vent our anger in the right direction' no doubt the next thing this lot will do is sack DC and try to apease the fans by giving the job to Conor' this time though we won't fall for it' the blame lies squarely at the boardroom door.
