    We,ll have overseas scouts who send reports in.
    The deals for both players will have been in the the mix for at least well over a month.
    Those who think we just pick a name out of a bag are way out with the way our and every other club work.
    Having said all that I'm surprised we couldn't get another striker over the line.

    What doesn't it highlight stats? How would oulare have activated one, he had played about 6 games in 4 seasons before we signed him.

    Got to be, but what about Cosgrove watters Roberts etc there not spreadsheet signings. We don't recruit the same way we used to.

    They could be. The analyst can select which data they want to look at and ignore the rest if they wish. Its most likely not the data that is the issue and more probably the person analising it that is.

    Can’t imagine Roberts would ever come up on a spreadsheet the other two could though.
