Would love to go great Sabbath lineup and a really good line up of supporting acts. Can’t though as I’m away I also think tickets will be a bit hard to come by. Wonder if we will see dynamic pricing Oasis style
Ozzy will be wheeled out for a couple of numbers with Sabbath and his own band rest will be guest singers , should be good though ,
Quite a crazy lineup all that lot. I would quite like to see Metallica one day but not sure it’s this day.
Would genuinely rather attend "An Evening with Keith Hill" where the only drink they serve is Ruddles Best and Paul Conway is the compere.
That could still be about 45 minutes! In all seriousness though, I’ve heard good things about them live. They’ve looked good on the YouTube videos I’ve watched too, although that is mostly older gigs. I probably won’t end up seeing them but if circumstance allows, I’d like to.
Would love to go, but no doubt it will be out of my budget range and then I would need at least 2 tickets. Announced on Planet Rock Radio this morning that you can apply through them for tickets
Made me chuckle that. I imagined him in a small, dimly lit, smokey venue, reciting ‘Evidently Chicken Town’ to an appreciative but niche audience who refer to him as just ‘Hill’. Conway turning to the camera and saying ‘nice’
If you do get the chance, go and see them. Yeah, they’re not like they were in the 80’s/90’s but like us all, they’re knocking on but they still play fast, loud and hard. I’ve seen them twice, second time being at Download ‘06 where they performed the Master of Puppets album in its entirety to celebrate the 20th anniversary, what a show! I seriously hope you do get the chance and I know you will enjoy it!
If (and it’s a big if) X rumours are to be believed, prices are insane, £395 / £250 for standing. Will make missing out on tickets much easier to take if so!
