    Agree. But you could counter that, with any striker who we would have signed wouldn’t have been playing much either, otherwise they wouldn’t be leaving.

    Cosgrove left us - but has barely played this season either.

    That list of freebies is pretty grim.

    If they were going to get someone, their best bet would be chatting to a club about a player with little time left on his contract and asking them to release him early. Obviously that group would be small in number given the club would want them off their books.

    My expectation is we'll look and not find anyone.
