Will be interesting to look back at this in 6 weeks or so, think once they get their injured players back they'll be fine
I imagine (unless they think they're in a genuine relegation battle...) they will keep Ange around till end of season whilst looking for a new appointment. Though I've no idea how long his contract is so maybe they give him an extra year and pin all of this poor season on injuries. Either way, they should be nowhere near as bad as this. He's had huge squads whether he's managed because of the type of football he plays, so it's not as though they weren't aware injuries will be an issue. What got me was when he got asked about conceding from corners basically every week and he said there wasn't an issue there. Again today, set pieces. He seems far too stubborn and hes started snapping back at fans.
Might manage Europa League. How long do you give him he's more clueless than Darrell FC uking Clarke lol. (Sorry for swearing)
Even with Ven, Romero, & Udogie, their form has been poor relatively speaking. He's been found out. He will get results but nowhere near as consistent as Spurs need to be. It's easy doing it with Celtic and Japan, but completely different in the premier league when teams like Brentford & Bournemouth can and do outspend European giants
It’s weird how forms gone completely out of the window for the two losing sides. Spurs should have gained a lot of confidence from a solid win at Brentford yet they played like they did at Everton. Arsenal should have been flying after the Man City result yet they played like they believed Newcastle had their number. Really flat, underwhelming performances from both London clubs.
Goes beyond football ( I know it shouldn't) for me. Don't know when owts gunna run for me mate. Depressed as f cuk right now. Picking fights with people online to liven' myself up. Being more opinionated even though it serves no purpose. Looking for a spark. Should be more organic and go with flow. It's my cross to bare. Shouldn't take stuff to heart as much.
Completely agree. One could argue the game was gone but still, in the 87th minute Liverpool had three players queueing up for a free header from a free kick with no Spurs players near them. It’s embarrassing. Injuries are no doubt a factor but they play suicide football. Newcastle had the most injuries in premier league history last season but still finished 7th. Man Utd weren’t far behind them & still managed to win the FA Cup. I can see why it justifies your fit players struggling with fatigue & performing a bit worse but you can’t be gifting free headers from set pieces or passing the ball straight to the opposition in your own half or defending on the half way line with back up centre backs who aren’t as quick.
Virgil Van Dyck. What a bloke to have in your team. Not just footballing ability but mentality. Really impressed with his Sky interview.
On the plus side we get an all northern final as this part of the country continues to dominate Football in this country.
Liverpool are probably the best club side in the world at the minute - I'm not sure what Tottenham were expecting last night going to Anfield with one fit centre half - who was making his debut for the club. They've been ravaged by injury all season.
You'd think, given the circumstances, he'd change his tactics up a bit though. But as mentioned earlier, even with stronger squad, they've been battered. Leicester, Ipswich, crystal Palace. There's no excuses really bud. I honestly don't think they can play his style with this spurs squad, its not good enough and far too many chances of injury
FWIW, you need to get some help. It appears obvious you love your son. Stop lowering it to gutter level at times as it is rather tedious. Good luck in the future and I hope things improve for you.
I think it’s because he played for them, and his dad managed them so successfully, that he’s so hard on them: He isn’t wrong. That spurs team is a disgrace.
