A 'descent' manager would be quite apt considering the direction we are going!

If he hasn't been given a payoff then Derby will pick up the difference until the contract termination date with them.

Tbh, he'd probably be sacked by us before that date arrived!!

Yes, just imagine what a coach who knew what he was doing could do with them.

Derby and Rotherham run completely different to us, I hear what you are saying but think about it for a second logically.
Paul Warne is a very hands on coach, he'd want his own playing style for starters and not have a manuscript to follow.
He'd have been on a few quid a Derby and his stock will more than likely be higher than ours, top end L1.
Not saying its impossible but highly highly unlikely, you know this lot it's far too sensible and would involve money.

Personally yesterday was the first game this season on Clarke. Why try a completely new formation away at 4th in the league? Ridiculous. I'm assuming Farrugia up front was a massive v sign to the board as well.

Frustrating thing is, even with that, we were by far the better team. Comfortable for 30 mins (in which time Pines was excellent btw), a stupid 5 mins, regrouped and then completely bossed the second half. Easily worth a point. Gauci had literally nothing to do all match bar pick the ball out of his net. How the ref only got 3 mins at the end was ridiculous.

There's not a lot wrong that a bit of investment in strikers in Jan wouldn't have solved. (See Bodvarsson scored again for Burton yesterday). Really annoying that even with the money floating about at the top end of the division we are heading for a mid table finish because we didn't speculate in Jan. 100%on the board this season.

I got the impression that the second half personnel was more of an F.U. to The Board.

"They've given me who? Right, Farrugia your playing up front son"

Sixty One percentage win rate at league one. Don’t think we’d do much better than that as an appointment

I haven’t a problem with Clarke changing the formation first half i think it’s what most fans wanted to try a different system i just think that week on week there’s a realisation that these players aren’t very good and mid table is probably our limit especially with the shocking recruitment.

Seeing some of the comments it is almost as if some posters don't even read the info available about any of our players pasts and abilities..... not just this thread..... yeah we are still crap right now so beat the club with the truth stick, no need to make stuff up.....

Just hard to believe anyone thinks Earl can play at left back. He’s probably our slowest player and that’s an achievement in itself given there’s a lot of competition.

Farrugia has played up front quite a bit for Shamrock before he joined us including in the ECL. Maybe not ideal but probably the right decision in the circumstances.

Well there you are then, its not as stupid as fans are saying, as he has played up front before.
Yeah I know its not ideal though, and in hindsight etc!.

Did I see something on line earlier today about Clarke saying we were near to signing another striker. Free agent I presume
