How do you know bids came in for any? Also last season if we sold our top scorer or any of the other influential players while in the play off there would be more toys out of the pram. Can't do right for doing wrong can they.

 

If you don’t turn over players, you end up subsidising the club to the tune of £5-8m. It’s about balance, not extremes. Letting so many players run down their contracts is incompetent. Selling all your best players at the same time is incompetent. Balance. Some.

 

If your having to put in 5-8 million a year your running the club wrong. Not because a few players you signed for free left for nothing. I remember the last time we sold 3 players whose contracts were due to expire. There was uproar.

 

I would not blame the fans. Poor service does not entitle people to turn up. Plus the Sky Sports changes to kick off times and days means some struggle to get there. Even if they got promoted and turned into world beaters I would not go to Oakwell again. That is the malaise I have now and better things to do with my time. If I need a local fix I might start watching Worsbrough Bridge.

They can't stop picking up injuries. Another three in the past week.

 

Injuries and suspensions are all part and parcel, all clubs have them. Few teams can play their favoured starting 11 consistently especially in the second half if the season

 

They have had over 20 injuries this season, many long term. Far more than any other team I can think of.

They have even had people look at why it might be happening. Like do they train too hard or too much, players not fit enough, playing surface etc.

The article mentions not even knowing when Pearson got injured. They said the same when Joe Taylor got injured after just two games after being fit all season at his previous club.

Something is amiss.

Not a dig at all the fans. Like I said social media doesnt help we have fans on here who don't go but same people years ago were slagging the club off for selling players close to there contract end. Now hammering the club for letting players go for nothing. Some people on here and other socials only hammer the club no matter what they do. We were in the play offs fans singing a offensive song about one of the owners who has put money into the club.

Maybe we have been blessed past 2 seasons we have made the play offs 4 seasons ago we were in the championship play offs. There's bigger clubs than us in worse positions. I'm no happy clapper but if we all pack it in like you have we will have a Derby with Worsbrough eventually.
