Edit: I saw a news story last week saying Santos tried to sign Josh Windass, but couldn't agree a deal with Wednesday so re-signed Neymar instead.

I forget how the points based system works. I was surprised Clement Rodrigues got a work permit to be fair based on how I thought it was scored.

 

What a sad predicament.

 

It's a convoluted system that I can't remember either, but looking at that list I just can't see how any of them would reach the points threshold. Although I remembered since my original post, I do believe they changed it all to allow each club a couple of players that don't meet the criteria, so perhaps we have a spare slot?

I think someone explained the changes on another thread recently. Something about relaxed criteria for two players (not sure the parameters), plus once these players have been at the club for a period of time, they are no longer counted as part of the two. Summat like that, anyway!
