Fans who blame everything on "needing a striker"

last season we conceded a whopping 64 goals and this year we have conceded 41 already! 4 less than Burton Albion (second bottom) what team have you been watching all season - we're crap all over the pitch

True, last season we got away with a lot because we had a goal scorer this season we don't and have been found out, people looking for the magic silver bullet to fix / cover up the issues with the team / squad were hoping signing a goal scorer would work. Unfortunately the man in charge of the football side of things thinks everything in the Oakwell garden is rosey and seems to have convinced the board it is all going swimmingly. Sooner or later the penny will drop hopefully before the team drop into L2 because with the current DoF and Head Coach combo that's were we are heading probably not this season but unless something changes in the summer certainly within the next two seasons.

 

agreed but it's not an excuse for being crap out of possesion which we are, and you can be good out of possesion with average players if you have a good coach

 

We have some really really poor defenders at the club unfortunately, many who should be nowhere near the first team
